Portoro uses smart locks. Guests will receive a designated code for their stay 24 hours prior to check in and once the guest agreement is signed and the reservation is fully paid. Guests have access to the entire home and can park in the driveway. Please pay attention to signage when parking on the street as there is no parking in the bike lane and restricted parking during some festivals.

Austin offers plenty of transportation options. Ride sharing, micro-mobility, and mass transit are available everywhere. Downtown Austin, including the University of Texas are 10 minutes from the home, and the airport is just 15 minutes away.

When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night. - The home has cameras for external monitoring only. - Reservations made during festivals and conferences are nonrefundable. - Both the City of Austin and the State of Texas require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6 percent and the city requires 11 percent. - A portion of the city hotel tax helps support musicians and related businesses.
