Portoro uses smart locks. Guests will receive a designated code for their stay 24 hours prior to check in and once the guest agreement is signed and the reservation is fully paid. Guests have access to the entire home and can utilize two parking driveway spots directly in front of the home. Street parking available around the corner on Newning. Please be mindful not to block the sidewalk in front of the house.

Austin offers plenty of transportation options. Ride sharing, micro-mobility, and Capital Metro buses are available along Congress Avenue. Downtown Austin is a short bike ride away (2 miles), the University of Texas is <5 miles away, and the airport is just a 15-minute drive. Don't forget Zilker Park and Barton Springs are also a short 2-mile bike ride away!

Please pay close attention to following house rules. Non compliance could result in sizable fines. - All guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and complete identity registration. - Quiet hours are from 10PM to 8AM - Noise monitors are present to enforce quiet hours. Please take conversations and music indoors at those times. - Age restrictions apply. Please inquire for more information. - Guests must abide by max occupancy at all times per city ordinance. - Over occupancy will result in additional fines or removal should a guest not comply. - Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Portoro directly. - Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately. - No open flames or candles in the home or outside of the home. - No Smoking or Vaping at the property. - Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival. - We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night. - The home has cameras for external monitoring only. - Reservations made during festivals and conferences are nonrefundable. - Both the City of Austin and the State of Texas require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6 percent and the city requires 11 percent. - A portion of the city hotel tax helps support musicians and related businesses.
