Welcome to “Sandy Cheeks”! This is a large 6 bedroom, 4 bath beach house with a game room and plenty of space for everyone. When you enter the home on the 2nd floor, you will immediately notice the bright, airy open floorplan of the living, dining, and kitchen areas. These areas have amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean from just about any vantage point. The living area has a sizeable sectional sofa wrapping around the large flat screen TV mounted on the wall with a fireplace. The dining table has seating for 8 and there is bar stool seating for 4 more at the kitchen island. The roomy kitchen features stainless appliances, gas stove-top, and plenty of kitchen gadgets needed to prep your favorite meals and drinks. The kitchen is completely stocked with dinnerware, pots, pans, glasses, and anything else you will need. Just outside is the expansive oceanfront deck that overlooks the beach. The deck offers full sun exposure and has a patio table for you to enjoy some outdoor dining.
There are three bedrooms upstairs. The primary suite features a welcoming king bed, TV, and a sitting area that looks out at the ocean. There is also private deck access from the sitting area. The primary bathroom is very spacious and features a soaking tub, separate shower, and a large double vanity with deep bowl sinks. There is also a walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom is on the front side of the house but has a window view of the ocean, in addition to a private, west-facing balcony. This bedroom has a king bed. The third bedroom is a smaller room and features a twin bed and a desk for guests to use. There is also a TV in this room. Between the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms is a Jack-n-Jill bathroom featuring a shower/tub combination.
Head downstairs and you will find three more bedrooms, and a large game-room/entertainment area. The 4th bedroom is another primary suite. It features a king bed, dresser, closet, TV, and an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 5 has a queen bed. Bedroom 6 was designed with the kids in mind. It has two sets of bunk beds; one is a twin over full and the other is a full over full. There is a TV and bean bag seating for the kids, too!
The entertainment area features a pool table with a ping-pong table topper. Pool cues, balls, and ping-pong paddles are provided. A large TV is surrounded by a sofa and love seat. There is a mini-bar which has bar stool seating, a mini-fridge and a microwave. We also have a table-style arcade game loaded with plenty of the video game classics. The laundry room now houses 2 sets of washer and dryers. Outside the back door is the lower-level deck area. It is about 40% covered by the deck above, providing some nice shady areas in the afternoon. The rest of the deck is open to the sun, offering a perfect place to work on your tan. The deck leads right down to the beach with very easy access.

The garage is only available to house beach items and a grill. There is not parking available in the garage.

*Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. Per County regulation, this house can accommodate 10 "occupants," excluding children 12 years of age or under. However, the house sleeps a total of 14.
Please note, that all guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and provide a valid form of ID. The primary reservation holder must provide a Government-Issued ID that matches the name on the rental agreement. This is a requirement from St. Johns County. All guest's names (first and last) must be provided. The ages of any minors are required to be listed. This is for emergency and insurance purposes.
