Looking for a beautiful, impeccably designed, spacious vacation home where young and old can gather? Sunrise-Sunset will accommodate 10 adults. Looking to relax on a tranquil beach with private access and breathtaking views ? Want to wake up in the morning to the sun rising over the Atlantic and then watch it set over a protected wildlife reserve? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then search no more. Wren Beach Rentals presents “Sunrise, Sunset”! Just renovated in the summer of 2019 with everything brand new, top to bottom, this stunning “coastal modern” home is now ready for visitors.
Nestled on a lush dune overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and across from the Guana Nature Reserve, the house offers a variety of sleeping options with four bedrooms and three full baths, including a charming bunk room adjacent to a media room. The open floor plan of the main level allows guests to mingle in the kitchen and dining areas while still being in the mix with friends and family in the living room. The fully stocked, spacious kitchen offers everything an experienced chef could ask for, all while enjoying the views of the ocean. From stainless steel appliances to rich granite counter tops, the kitchen is not only warm and inviting, but very functionally practical, stocked with quality cookware and full dinner sets. And we promise, there will be no shortage of wine glasses (or any glassware for that matter)!
The dining area features a beautiful farmhouse table with seating up to eight. The spacious and bright living area offers plenty of room to lounge and unwind or gather round and binge-watch your favorite show on the large flat-screen TV mounted over the decorative fireplace. From the living room you can access two fantastic outdoor areas. The oceanfront deck is open to the sun and offers a great place to work on your tan or have lunch while watching the dolphins frolic in the ocean. On the south side of the house is the covered, screened porch. This may become your favorite spot at the house! It offers constant shade and cooler temperatures, while still allowing for the sea breeze to pass through. The screens help to keep unwanted pests away while you enjoy your morning coffee or an outdoor dinner. The homeowners got the inspiration to call the house “Sunrise, Sunset” from the changing views enjoyed from this porch!
On the main level of the house, you’ll also find a full bath with walk-in shower and two well-proportioned bedrooms: One queen room (with a TV!), ocean-side with French doors that open onto the deck and provide gorgeous ocean views; the other with two full-size beds. Both bedrooms have large closets and dressers offering plenty of room to unpack and settle in. Throughout the house you’ll find hotel-quality linens, pillows, and comforters. The private master suite encompasses the entire top floor and boasts the same, stunning ocean views. The comfy king bed is dressed in soft sheets and a fluffy comforter, inviting you in for a good night’s sleep. Before nodding off, catch up on the latest news or your favorite late night show on the flat screen TV. The en-suite master bathroom features a corner sink with granite counter top, a step-in shower, and a walk-in closet.
Downstairs is the hidden gem of the house. The whole family will love the bunk room! Built with the intention of providing a fun “getaway” in the home, the bunk room features two custom, twin-over-full bunk beds complete with individual lighting, comfortably sleeping 6 children. While this area will be a hit with groups traveling with their kids, grown-ups will find it just as inviting. Adjacent to the bunks is an attractive media room with plenty of seating. Books and board games can also be found here. The laundry room, a small, full-bath, and the garage can also be found on this level, as well as access to the lower patio. Located under the 2nd floor deck, this area offers yet another shady spot to gather and provides the perfect place to sit and keep the grill-master company while dinner is being prepared.
The private boardwalk leads over the flourishing, natural dune and right down to the beach. At the end of the walkway are a bench and outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Because there are no public access points nearby and driving is not allowed on the beach, it feels like your own private slice of paradise! Of course, if you are visiting during Sea Turtle Season (May through October), you may see the Turtle Patrol on their ATVs, checking for nests. Enjoy long walks on the beach as you search for shells and shark teeth, learn to catch some waves, or try your hand at surf fishing. You are sure to find plenty to do on the beach. Of course, you can always lay out your towel and just relax under the sun.
Experience the beauty of sandy shores where you can swim, sunbathe, surf, paddleboard, and fish. Take leisurely walks along the beach to discover treasures like shark teeth, sand dollars, and sea glass.
